At the corner of Hollywood Road and photogenic Ladder Street, look for Man Mo Temple, built in 1847-48 and considered one of the oldest Chinese temples in the region. You'll have to patiently inch your way through the devout, heavy incense smoke, curious tourists and fortune-tellers in order to truly absorb this historic place of worship that is dedicated to the Gods of Literature and War. |
